Arl glanced at Sarl before turning back towards Drevin. "I was thinking we'd just tie him up and leave him here, come back later. He honestly shouldn't move around much with his wound anyway, just leave him some water and have him sleep a bit."
She looked over the crude woven map she'd put together during the information dump. Taking out the sleepers first would be helpful, but there was no way of knowing if they were still sleeping. Perhaps they should just leave that as a possible bonus. "The factory is more to the advantage of a small group, but we'd be risking a lot of property damage. Wait.. factory.. town hall.. where are the kitchens? Do the cooks operate somewhere different from everyone else?"

"I think they were setting up in the back of the town hall." he offered.

Drevin scowled at the thought of willingly leaving an enemy at his back but he decided not to press the issue for the moment. "I'd say hit the beds first and kill as many as we can before the rest come to their senses..." He eyed young Arl and shrugged. "But that requires a propensity for violent murder so I'm open to alternative ideas."

"I was thinking about that - preventing the sleepers from joining the fight one way or another - but if even one of them is already up the sleeping quarters might end up being where we have to fight everyone and I'm not sure how good or bad an idea that is." Arl checked the map again, pondering the best way to split the ene- wait. A grin spreads across her face.
"Say, Sarl, how long do you think it'd be before they sent someone to figure out why you haven't returned yet? Would most of the group move out, or would it be just a couple since they're a little hungover and all?" She glanced back towards the others "We could ambush them again, take the town after the third group sets out to finish things, then ambush the third group after they return from a long day of searching!"

Riesig had no input during the planning phase. He instead started inspecting the bow, and seeing if he could use it well enough.

All Drevin could think about through all of this was how they were going to have deal with the growing number of non dead bandits after each of these ambushes. But he supposed that Guardman could decide whether or not to kill the inevitable surrenders. Hell he was getting paid either way so he didn't really give a damn. He decided to wait to hear the captive's take on it first.

"If we wait for an ambush they'll definitely be more awake and alert." Randall added, scratching his chin.

"And if we don't come back in a little while they won't bother sending out a couple of people. They'll wait until everyone's awake and send out something closer to a squad." Skarl added.
Riesig fiddled with the bow. Without some sort of magical appraisal all he could really tell was that it held a lot of tension when it hadn't been fired for a while and slightly less after the first shot.

As he waited, he took aim with the bow at a tree away from the others at the camp, tried to feed it some magic, and fired. Then tried to hold the bow taut while it recharge to figure out roughly how long it took. This bow was interesting to him; far more than the planning that was going on.

Drevin shrugged noncommittally. "Them coming to us may be more desirable than the reverse anyway. At least they wouldn't be fortified, and fighting outside the village would be the best way to minimize damage to it. Might even be able to set up some more elaborate traps if anyone has a notion of how to."
