He eyed the quiche, giving it a satisfying nod. "Thank you." He said, accepting the small pie-shaped serving of egg. He didn't know what else was in it but he took a bite readily. He tended to like every type of food, especially when it was free. But in the back of his mind he noted the shifter's generosity.
"I didn't catch your name at our first meeting." He said, food still in his mouth. He knew this individual to be the first to greet him upon his arrival to the warehouse. He was also the one who had chased down Dalton's boat and killed the young man onboard. He wasn't sure how he felt about that but this wasn't really the time to have an opinion, especially not since he hadn't actually seen what happened on the ship. They were also about to work together and that ruthlessness, if that's what it was, could yet help them.
"My original worries over Pirates are becoming smaller and smaller as evidence mounts in favor of our ship never reaching that island." He said with a morbid sarcasm, taking another bite of the quiche.
