Lilly paused as Kage offered to show her the chaos without actually risking getting eaten by a dragon... she smirked, pivoted on one heel and hurled a fireball at the back of the pirate she had just run passed.
She then immediately copied the shifter's exit strategy, slipping her baton over the rope and using it to slide towards the boat at speed.

So, I think we've been imaging the rope differently. I've been using an L-ish formation while Udo seems to be assuming \ and DAK is more of a tilted (. We'll go with the tilted (, which means Peg Leg actually reached the middle area within reach of the rocks while Axes and Bandana reached the rocks on the bottom.
The blast caught Peg Leg off-guard, singeing her air and dazing her long enough for Kage to smash into her from the front. Peg leg stumbled and tripped, only barely managing to twist her arm fast enough to preserve her life. She screamed in agony as her elbow cracked against the rock.
"DODGE!" shouted Kaia, the fairy looking back from Kage's shoulder as the Axe-wielding pirate furiously hurled one of his weapons towards her companion. The vortexes protected the jaguar's man head, perhaps, but a body strike would do the job just fine.
Bandana watched the events unfolding in a panic. "WAIT! Just take us with you!"

To be fair, it's been a couple years since I read the initial setup details
Kage's first reaction to Kaia was to place a
shield in the direction she was facing when she called out the warning. The same instant he dropped low and spun towards the attacker, hoping the strike of whatever it was hadn't been aimed for his legs. It wasn't his ship to make the call of additional passengers. That fell to Dalton. To the axe man,
"You seem to have a problem with the axe to hand ratio. Keep aiming those at me, and I'll increase that ratio."

Castor wasn’t sure how he could help from the boat. He found he was torn. He needed to assist his party mates back to the boat safely. He wouldn’t leave without them. He could care less if the Pirates were left behind to be killed by the Dragon, except he needed information from them. If they were going to come along as one of them had requested, they would need to be disarmed somehow. But what if they needed help fending off the Dragon as they escaped?
He looked at each Pirate in turn. The one wearing the bandana seemed to sincerely want to escape without having to fight them for the ship. The one with the peg leg had gone down without a fight and looked hurt. The man with the axes was the only one threatening them at the moment.
He decided all he could do was try to disarm the man. He used his minor telekinesis to grab the axe he was holding and pulled it to the side as hard as he could, then again in the opposite direction trying to break it free from his grip.
“Get back to the ship!” He yelled out to Kage and Lilly. “Our job is done! We need to leave!”

Lillith continued to slide down the rope, focusing on keeping her body tucked up towards her baton for maximum speed.

"Wally, STOP." shouted Bandana.
"Didn't you see what they did to Kathy? was Axes Wally's response.
Peg Leg Kathy shakily pulled herself up with her good arm, tears still streaming from her eyes "T-There's no time. We.. we have to l-leave!"
Wally glared at Kage "We're joining you on that boat. If you want to fight to the death instead, attack us again."
"Wally!"
"It don't matter if they won't let us on! I'd rather get a last fight in then."
Bandana Scyto quickly shouts to the group, yelling over people if needed to ensure he's the next speaker. "Truce! Until we get back to the continent! We can fight once we're NOT HERE."

"You want a truce; hand over your weapons." Lilly said as she dismounted the rope.
"You don't invite pirates to board you." she added, scathing.

"TEN YARDS! The thing's tail has to be at least ten yards!" exclaims Scyto.
Wally grits his teeth and tightens his grip on the next axe. "You're a dancer, eh?"
"It's like a scythe.. no, like a butcher carving meat.. and the breath! Breath like a mountain wind on the darkest night! Scyto waves his hands wildly, the fear in his eyes seemingly genuine.
The look in Wally's eyes makes things clear - if anyone isn't feeling up for a fight, they better speak up fast.

Meanwhile, Dalton had somehow found himself fighting yet another drake. Fortunately it went down fairly easily, but the man was currently preoccupied with making sure the ship would be good for an immediate evacuation.

"You heard the lady. You want a ride, you put down the weapons. You dont put down the weapons, and everyone sees how long they can outrun a dragon. Now would be a really smart time to not be an arrogant cur, Wally."
